Because I narrowly focus my practice on trial work for clients with problems to solve and stories to tell that are in the public interest, I am selective about who I represent.

Every week, I schedule free or low-cost (45) minute initial consultations with prospective clients to assess our fit for an engagement.

Prospective clients to whom I may be of service receive a proposal for a full consultation allowing me to review their matter further. Full consultations range from a flat fee of $500 to $1,500, and provide me the time to investigate, research, and assess the relevant facts and law.

Prospective clients I wish to represent receive either a flat fee or contingency proposal for an engagement.
During the consultation process, if I determine I cannot represent you, or if you decline to retain me as your counsel, I will refer you to another attorney at your request. Engaged clients are credited the flat fee for their paid consultations.
